No! Absolutely No! This is a complicating faoctr to an education system that already has too many problems to deal with. Our country has always had a good public education system and should continue to improve that system. My understanding of the primary use of voucher systems is to let parents move their kids out of what they perceive to be a poorly performing school, to one that does better. The problem is that this can make the poor performing school even worse. The answer, should be evident. A school's performance is based on many faoctrs including, but not limited to, teachers, students, school administrators, parent involvement, financial resources, When you have a poorly performing school and want to improve it, all or most of those faoctrs must be addressed. Simply, saying, OK, this school is no go so we are going to forget all about it. Go to some other school, if you want. That is not the way to do it. So, again, I feel vouchers are a bad idea.
