HelloI am answering <a href="http://ziqutxmn.com">acrodcing</a> to my personal experienceLast time I went to Taiwan and stayed somewhere south to Taipei in a hostel in the mountainsAnd <a href="http://ziqutxmn.com">acrodcing</a> to my observation there were a lot of vacant rooms so it is possible that booking a few days before could workBut to play on the safe side you should always book at least 2 weeks ahead because hostels usually have to go through a lot of information recording and assigning in TaiwanSuch as assigning rooms for large groups of people or reserving rooms for tourists with packagesAnd transportation is quite troublesome in Taiwan so i suggest that you know the chinese writing of the locations you plan to go and have a well-planned trip to and fro your desired hostel
